Erica Lewis

Executive Director

For Erica Lewis, leadership has always begun with people.

Now serving as Executive Director of the Greater Farmington Area Chamber of Commerce, Erica brings to the position more than an understanding of business. She brings a genuine curiosity about people, their ideas, their ambitions, and what becomes possible when the right individuals are brought together.

Her career has been shaped by an ability to see connections others might miss. A conversation can become a partnership. A new member can become a community leader. A local event can become an opportunity for businesses to grow, collaborate, and feel that they are part of something larger.

Before becoming Executive Director, Erica led the Chamber’s business development efforts, strengthening member relationships, supporting local businesses, expanding programming, and increasing the organization’s presence throughout the community.

Erica holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing with a minor in Spanish Language and Cultural Studies from Grand Valley State University. Her experience as a business owner and educator further shaped the communication skills, cultural awareness, and adaptability she brings to Chamber leadership.

Today, Erica works alongside the Chamber’s Board of Directors, members, municipalities, schools, civic organizations, and economic-development partners to strengthen a connected and forward-looking business community. Her approach remains deeply personal: she listens, remembers what matters to people, and looks for ways to turn shared goals into forward movement.

Looking ahead, Erica is focused on strengthening the Greater Farmington Area’s business ecosystem by forging deeper relationships with corporate, organizational, and community leaders while remaining equally committed to the small businesses that form the backbone of the local economy. She sees the Chamber as a catalyst for creating partnerships, shared opportunities, and greater economic synergy. We are where business gets done.

One of Erica’s strengths is identifying blind spots that can hold businesses back, recognizing untapped opportunities, and connecting people with the relationships, resources, and practical solutions needed to move forward. Her vision is to cultivate a thriving, interconnected business community—one where small businesses flourish, established organizations invest and collaborate, and the Greater Farmington Area continues to emerge as a sought-after destination for business, innovation, and opportunity.

Lauren Belland

Administrative & Member Services Coordinator

For more than a decade, Lauren Belland built her career around people—finding talent, recognizing potential, and helping individuals and organizations move forward through her work in recruiting and human resources.

When she joined the Greater Farmington Area Chamber of Commerce as Administrative & Member Services Coordinator, she brought with her an understanding that strong organizations begin with something simple but powerful: making people feel welcomed, heard, and valued.

Today, Lauren is often one of the first people Chamber members encounter and one of the people working quietly behind the scenes to keep everything moving. From welcoming new members and answering questions to coordinating communications, billing, events, and daily operations, she helps turn individual interactions into lasting connections. For Lauren, the role is more than administrative, it is an opportunity to help local businesses feel supported and part of a community.
